“I started working in recruitment in 1998, in my hometown of Liverpool. I’ve always recruited for law firms, as well as for financial, property, public sector and education roles.

“I joined Ryder Reid Legal in 2008 and became a Director and shareholder in 2011, before buying the business in 2018 with my amazing colleague and friend, Callum Smith. We have ambitious plans and our Yin and Yang skills and qualities enable us to work together to make great things happen.

“I’ve placed a large number of senior legal leadership positions and I’ve built up many great relationships with law firms and candidates over the years. As well as managing and motivating our team, most days I’m in touch with clients and candidates, coaching, interviewing and shortlisting them, while managing the recruitment process for clients.

“What sets us apart? We’re a people-first agency that really puts clients and candidates at the heart of what we do. We have a fantastic team – we’re friends as well as colleagues. I get to speak to lots of people, which I enjoy, and I love helping people to develop their career.
