A highly regarded US law firm based in a stunning iconic City office currently has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Billings and Collections Co-ordinator with strong billing/revenue experience to join their friendly team. Candidates should have a good understanding of UK Customs & Exercise Invoice Regulations, Solicitor Accounts Rules and VAT regulations. You will be dealing with credit notes, Elite, checking Trust account balances, reviewing prebilling documents, reviewing rates etc, approvals for adjustments, reviewing final bills, providing research assistance, preparing bills, maintaining Excel sheets, maintaining billing rates, preparing special bills, dealing with client and attorney enquiries, ensuring adherence to firms billing procedure, maintaining invoice files, producing monthly bills, liaising with the e-billing hub, assisting in the implementation of the firms collection program, monitoring client payments, analysing billing and collection performance, providing signed copies of bills, providing support to accounts payable and office accounts and other assigned duties. This role would best suit a strong all-rounder with accounting experience in small to medium sized firm (preferably an international law firm). Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and essential and the successful candidate must have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and meet stringent deadlines. Strong word processing, database and spreadsheet software skills are required.
