Job Description

Our client, a US law firm based in stunning offices, currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a busy and varied role where the Finance Manager will manage and oversee the London finance team.

This role will cover the following key areas of responsibility:

  • Financial operations (including billings and collections, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets and banking)
  • UK LLP financial statements and audit processes
  • SAR and tax compliance including VAT and partnership returns
  • Budgets and forecasts
  • Managing local and international bank accounts
  • Inventory management
  • Payroll
  • Payments and key reconciliations
  • EC Sales Lists and quarterly VAT returns
  • HMRC compliance
  • SAR Audits
  • Accrual based trial balances
  • UK LLP financial statements
  • UK LLP statutory accounts
  • Partnership tax returns

The Finance Manager must have relevant experience within a senior finance function at a Law Firm and have a strong understanding of SRA, accounting and tax requirements in the UK. An accounting qualification is preferred but is not essential. Knowledge of CMS Aderant and/or Elite Enterprise or 3e would be highly beneficial.
