Job Description

Our client, a successful full service law firm, is looking to recruit a Head of HR to lead their HR function and provide a high quality service to the firm. The Head of HR will drive HR strategy, deliver key projects and manage the HR team. This firm offer a friendly and supportive culture and are looking for someone to help them take HR to the next level. Reporting into the Chief Executive, key responsibilities for the Head of HR will include:

  • Develop and implement HR initiatives in line with organisational objectives
  • Lead on the implementation and development of HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee and/or take the lead on complex employee relations cases
  • Management and delivery of the Associate Development programme
  • Management of the firm's reward structure including annual salary review and benefit renewals
  • Management of the online flexible benefits platform
  • Management and development of the HR team

The ideal candidate for the Head of HR role will have strong HR experience from a Law firm or Professional Services firm. You will ideally be CIPD qualified. Strong communication skills are essential, and you must have a proactive can-do attitude. You will be a skilled negotiator and be able to build effective relationships at all levels. Resilience and tenacity is required, and you need to have proven decision making skills.
