Job Description

Our highly successful US law firm client is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in London. The HR Advisor will work alongside the HR Manager to ensure the smooth running of the London HR function. Key responsibilities for the HR Advisor will include:

  • Acting as first point of contact for the London office in relation to HR related queries
  • Working with HR Manager to ensure firm's policies and procedures are compliant with UK employment legislation
  • Leading on Support staff recruitment and managing relationships with agencies
  • Coordinating the annual performance review process for employees
  • Supporting with the implementation and administration of staff benefits including policy renewals
  • Supporting with the annual salary review and bonus processes
  • Tracking parental leave requests and assisting with flexible working requests
  • Assisting at disciplinary/grievance hearings
  • Working on a range of ad-hoc HR projects

The ideal candidate for this HR Advisor role will have solid generalist HR experience from a Law firm, and ideally be CIPD or part-CIPD qualified. You will be able to work autonomously, yet also be a good team player. Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills are a must.
