Job Description

Our US law firm client has an opportunity for an HR Systems Project Manager to join their London office to lead the planning and implementation of HR related projects across EMEA. Reporting into the Director of HR Operations in the US, the HR Systems Project Manager will support global HR process and technology initiatives - notably the implementation of the new Workday HRM system. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with colleagues in HR and IT to complete project deliverables on time and within budget
  • Serving as Project Lead in EMEA for programs that support global initiatives, focused on the implementation of the Workday HCM solution
  • Establishing positive and collaborative relationships with internal clients and implementation team
  • Assisting with creation of overall Workday project plans and managing deliverables for each key phase
  • Collaborating with Business Analysts to identify process and systems requirements and ensure proper documentation
  • Managing Workday HCM integrations with other EMEA firm technology solutions, including ADP Payroll
  • Working closely with project team members in US and US Project Manager to ensure alignment of data and processes
  • Managing implementation timeline and meeting prescribed deadlines to ensure successful and on-time deployment of global HCM solution

The ideal candidate for the HR Systems Project Manager role will be degree educated and have strong HR Information Systems experience. Preferably you will have experience in global HR system implementation and/or HR Project Management experience. You will have strong technical, customer service, people management and interpersonal skills. You must be a self-starter, highly organised, and a good problem solver. Proficiency in Workday, ADP and Lawson required. Our client is ideally looking for someone on a 1 year fixed term contract but would also consider people on a permanent basis.
