Job Description

A hugely successful and desirable US law firm are seeking a HR Coordinator to join their busy and friendly team on a permanent basis. The successful HR Coordinator will work closely with Senior HR Professionals in providing effective HR support to the firm, which will include coordination of the recruitment and orientation processes, and administration of generalist HR processes and procedures.

Duties will be varied and will include:

Generalist HR Support:

  • Preparing management reports
  • Assisting with compensation modelling and research
  • Preparing HR correspondence including changes to terms and conditions, maternity and paternity processes and compensation documentation
  • Maintaining all personnel files in line with the HR document retention policy and GDPR regulations
  • Supporting senior HR team members with employee relations issues, investigations and other sensitive and confidential matters
  • Maintaining accurate Workday records and completing cyclical system testing
  • Involvement in local, European and global talent projects and initiatives


  • Managing updates for joiners, leavers and transfers
  • Processing monthly and annual benefit invoices
  • Providing assistance to the HR team for annual and mid-year benefit renewals
  • Liaising closely with Payroll to ensure all compensation changes are reflected in benefit uploads
  • First point of contact for ad-hoc employee queries and relationship management tasks


  • Preparing job descriptions and coordinating hiring processes with legal recruitment agencies, business services recruiters and executive search consultancies
  • Ownership of interview scheduling process, including responsibility for internal and external communications throughout
  • Collating and circulating full interview feedback
  • Drafting and sending out offer documentation
  • Managing the recruitment database to ensure timely review and response to all agency and direct applicants, and maintaining information in line with internal document retention policy and GDPR regulations


  • Conducting the pre-employment screening process
  • Completing visa applications and related immigration processes in line with Home Office regulations
  • Completing Right To Work checks
  • Drafting employment contracts
  • Setting up new joiners on Workday and liaising with other teams to coordinate onboarding (Payroll, IT, Facilities, BD and Risk)
  • Arranging tailored induction schedules and completing first day HR induction meeting for all new joiners

The ideal candidate will have good academics, advanced IT skills and strong interpersonal communication skills. They must possess the ability to multitask, demonstrate superior prioritization skills and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
