Our client, a top US law firm, is looking for a hardworking, dedicated and reliable IT User Support Specialist to fill a new position that has opened up in the IT Support Desk in their London Office on a 12 month fixed term contract. This 1st/2nd line support role will require a candidate to have strong MS Office skills, excellent troubleshooting skills and a familiarity with working on Legal documents.
Daily duties will involve resolving IT problems professionally and efficiently, regular troubleshooting within the Microsoft Windows and Office environment, moving and maintaining PC/IT equipment and providing loan hardware, remote access and mobile device support.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous experience in providing Deskside Support in law firm or other similar corporate environment. The role will allow the right candidate to develop their skills in the following areas; Support Desk, Deskside Support, Telephony Support, Video Conference setup and support, training and more.
This role is as demanding as it is rewarding, and as such, the right candidate will require the right work ethic, a very professional outlook and must be able to be relied upon. Previous experience in a 1st line support role and excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and an ability to notice and report trends are essential.
