Job Description

Our US law firm client based in stunning City offices is looking to recruit a Knowledge Management Specialist to join their London office. This person will provide a dedicated support for the knowledge management function for the London and Munich offices and will work closely with the KM Partners. Key responsibilities for the Knowledge Management Specialist will include:

  • Ongoing development of practice area precedent and knowledge collections, including indexing and uploading new materials and linking them to SharePoint
  • Developing and maintaining practice area databases of training materials
  • Providing support with market practice data collection
  • Developing and maintaining practice groups SharePoint sites, in accordance with content management best practices
  • Tracking deals worked on in the London office
  • Assisting KM Partners with the drafting of practice area bulletins and other current awareness communications
  • Collaborating with KM colleagues in the US on firm-wide projects

The ideal candidate for the Knowledge Management Specialist role will have solid experience within a similar role in a law firm. You will have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You must be confident in liaising with people at all levels and able to suggest and implement new ideas. Experience of SharePoint 2013 is highly desirable. A customer orientated approach is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects.
