Job Description

A market-leading global law firm is seeking to recruit a Knowledge Management Systems Analyst to join their Central Knowledge Management team to promote and encourage best KM practice globally, supporting key KM systems and processes. Reporting to the KM Systems Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge within a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Support KM technology projects (including new projects, phased releases, system migrations and version upgrades) and support KM system business as usual (BAU).
    * Work with the firm's Innovation and IS teams to investigate use of AI tools to help with matter and document profiling (RAVN), also use of external data sources/feeds to support matter profiling in Foundation, such as Westlaw Edge api.
    * New KM projects currently underway/in the pipeline at BCLP include: iManage Insight, RAVN, Foundation, MS Teams, Closing Binders, among others. Be ready to support all with testing, user training and support.
    * BAU work includes supporting all of the systems and supporting user adoption, use and queries. In Foundation, be able to help with marketing searches for pitches, league table and other reporting.
    * Help support the use of experience management (Foundation), including working with practice groups globally to help the team design data points and collection thresholds, and to promote user adoption.
    * Contribute to several Foundation initiatives: designing Chambers templates, profile manager oversight, exploring content management, ingestion of external content.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of information systems and classification principles including experience management and enterprise search. You will have experience working within legal tech and be an excellent communicator, able to work with people of varying levels of seniority and technical experience. You must be highly organised with strong project management skills and have the ability to persuade and influence senior stakeholders to adopt new processes.
