Job Description

A Legal Recruiting & Development Coordinator is required for the London office of a highly successful US law firm. In this newly-created role, you will work alongside the Manager to support the legal recruitment and professional development programme. Key responsibilities for the Legal Recruiting & Development Coordinator will include:

  • Acting as key point of contact for queries relating to graduate recruitment and development
  • Coordinating and attending university law fairs and assisting with other profile raising activities
  • Supporting the Manager, Training Principal and Graduate Recruitment Partner with Summer Scheme programme
  • Coordinating the trainee induction programme
  • Assisting with all lateral recruitment activity including interview booking and liaising with legal search firms
  • Supporting with the trainee solicitor seat rotation process and evaluations
  • Assisting with trainee qualification process, including submission of SRA paperwork
  • Coordinating training programmes and the lawyer mentoring programme

The ideal candidate for the Legal Recruiting & Development Coordinator position will have solid relevant experience of administering recruitment programmes within a law firm or professional services firm. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills, and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. You must be confident and able to work well within a team environment. There will be some occasional travel to law fairs so some flexibility will be needed.
