Housed in very impressive offices in the heart of the City of London, our client, a remarkable, intercontinental American law firm, is looking to recruit a proactive and forward thinking Legal Recruitment professional. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to step up into a varied and self-governing position in a welcoming and supportive environment. As you will be supporting a Director of Legal Recruitment you will need to be comfortable coordinating all recruitment independently with admin support from the HR team when required. This is a broad, interesting and moldable new position that holds endless potential for the right person. Our client is looking for a self-starter to take practical ownership of day to day lawyer recruitment, and possibly some training and development related tasks to support the wider team with other projects.
- Manage all aspects of lawyers recruitment for the London office.
- End to end full cycle recruitment of graduates and managing the NQ process
- London lateral recruitment (1-2 hires a year)
- Coordination and execution of immigration, Right to Work and VISA documentation
- Assisting with the development of the trainee programs and organising assessment days
- Maintaining the London Recruitment inbox and responding to applications
- Full applicant / CV screening and managing the application tracking system
- Managing the joiners and leavers processes
- Drafting offer correspondence
- Assisting with onboarding
- Coordination interviews
- Assisting with firm-wide recruitment events and managing budgets
- Acting as POC for all Recruitment
- Assisting with queries on training and development for the lawyers
Essential requirements:
- Ideally 18 months law firm or legal agency recruiting experience
- You Must have legal recruitment experience and understand the associate recruitment process and demands
- Knowledge of NQ process and recruitment
- Knowledge of Word and Outlook and hold the ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets (advanced)
- The ability to building strong working, professional relationships with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a pleasant working relationship at all levels
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload accordingly
- Must be able cope under pressure in a calm manner within a busy role
- Be a self-starter with plenty of initiative and resilience, but who equally thrives in a small team-based environment
