Job Description

Our client is a fast growing, dynamic and successful US law firm. They are currently looking to recruit a new Legal Recruitment & Professional Development Manager to manage all the Associate recruitment and development for the London office. Working closely with the senior stakeholders in London, the Legal Recruitment & Professional Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all lateral recruitment efforts
  • Managing relationships with recruitment agencies and coordinating the interview and offer process
  • Interviewing candidates and maintaining contact with them throughout the recruitment process
  • Regular liaison with the firm's Recruiting team in New York
  • Managing the Associate onboarding process, including orientation, background and conflict checks
  • Liaising with Partners to monitor Associate productivity and availability
  • Facilitating the Associate evaluation processes
  • Overseeing training initiatives for London attorneys, tracking CPD and arranging secondments

The ideal candidate for the Legal Recruitment & Professional Development role will have recruitment experience from an international law firm. A legal qualification is also highly desirable. You must have a good knowledge of the UK legal market and be able to demonstrate strong organisational and project management skills. Experience of coordinating training/development activities is strongly preferred and you must be flexible, results orientated, and able to build effective relationships at all levels.
