Ryder Reid Legal is seeking an Litigation Paralegal to join a full-service London based law firm on a permanent basis.
This will be a shared role where the successful candidate will work alongside the Tax Litigation Partner for 2 days a week and then float across the Litigation teams for 3 days a week.
The role will involve
- Providing complete assistance to Partners and Associates regarding various legal issues, including
- Drafting and amending legal documentation
- Preparing and issuing correspondence, including client notifications and letters
- Taking and drafting witness statements
- Preparing court bundles as required
- Undertaking relevant research, as required
- Identifying and retrieving information necessary to support legal decision-making
- Maintaining records and using the IT systems to undertake searches
- Undertaking office administration to support the team, to include filing, photocopying, responding to emails
- Creating, issuing and ensuring payment of invoices
The ideal candidate will have 6 months litigation experience ideally within tax litigation. Experience of professional negligence and judicial review would be beneficial
This role will require office working 5 days per week.
