Job Description

Our client, a leading US headquartered law firm, is looking to recruit a Manager of International Directories & Surveys to be based in the London office. Reporting into the Director of Public Relations & Communications, the Manager of International Directories & Surveys is responsible for the firm's participation in global surveys in the UK and Asia. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Spearheading the firm's participation in global surveys, including identifying opportunities and strategizing the approach, writing and editing submissions
  • Provides oversight and guidance to the Marketing team on the development of survey and award submissions
  • Identifies best practices and creates timelines, templates and process documents for all award nominations
  • Collaborates with firm management, partners and Marketing to develop content for submissions and meet deadlines
  • Interfaces with editors and researchers in connection with survey and award opportunities
  • Researches new opportunities and analyses survey/award participation by peer firms
  • Communicates results of rankings to the leadership and team

The ideal candidate for the Manager of International Directories & Surveys will have a degree in a relevant subject (such as English, Journalism and Communications) , and have strong directly related experience (ideally from a law firm or legal publication). You must have excellent editorial, copy, writing, editing and research skills. You will also have first class interpersonal skills, a high degree of discretion and judgement, and be a strategic thinker.
