The role requires the ability to manage and prioritise an ever-changing and challenging workload with a focus on
quality, detail and delivery, and to liaise directly with clients and internal stakeholders to manage their
requirements and expectations.
Main responsibilities will include the following:
The organisation and execution of all London events: in-house, external and virtual.
Assisting with the drafting of pitching for new business opportunities.
Working with internal teams to prepare materials to support business development initiatives.
Helping to execute marketing campaigns relevant to clients, prospects and other firm offices via press
releases, website and social media channels.
Supporting the firm's key client development programme by understanding our strategic clients,
their objectives and helping to execute supporting business development activities.
Assisting with the drafting and coordination of legal directory submissions (Chambers and Legal 500)
and other award submissions.
Providing support on the collection and input of deal experience in the firm's database across the
London office's main practice areas to ensure effective intelligence gathering.
Support the marketing manager with upholding the best practices around the firm's Client Relationship
Management (CRM) system to enhance the lawyers' business development efforts.
Be seen as a trusted advisor on social media best practice and profile optimisation in line with the firm's
social media policy.
Minimum of three to four years' marketing and business development experience, preferably in a
professional services / law firm environment, ideally within the firm's core sectors (Technology &
Innovation, Energy & Infrastructure and Finance).
University degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing or related areas is preferable.
CIM or equivalent professional marketing qualification is desirable.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Good working knowledge of CRM systems. InterAction preferable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a pleasant working relationship with all levels of
personnel, clients and suppliers.
Excellent organisation, follow through and feedback.
Ability to perceive and analyse problems, develop alternative solutions and make or recommend sound
