Job Description

Ryder Reid is working with a US headquartered law firm to recruit an Office Manager for their London office. In this newly-established role, the Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the running of the office and will establish and maintain ongoing communication with the lawyers and managers. Responsibilities for the Office Manager will be diverse and wide-ranging, including but not limited to:

  • First point of contact for all HR related issues
  • Managing all staff recruitment and induction process
  • Dealing with Employee Relations issues, in association with lawyers
  • Payroll and Benefits administration for London
  • Facilities management, including vendor relationships and liaising with building management
  • Approving invoices and expenses
  • Coordinating arrangements for office events

The ideal candidate for the Office Manager role will have previous relevant experience from a law firm or professional services firm. You must be familiar with general management processes, and in particular have some experience of generalist HR issues. First class organisational skills are essential for the Office Manager, along with strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
