“I became interested in working in recruitment while at university, after speaking to a friend who had been doing it for a year. They really enjoyed the fast-paced nature of their role and that appealed to me. I’ve now worked in recruitment for more than five years and I still enjoy speaking to people so I can better understand what they’re looking for in their career.

“I love having a tangible effect on people by supporting them and helping them to progress their careers and find their dream job. There’s nothing better than matching the right candidate to the right role and law firm.

“On an average day, my job involves speaking to professionals to find out exactly what they’re looking for in their next career move. I also speak to clients to talk about how we can support their plans to expand or restructure.

“What I love most about Ryder Reid is the people I get to work alongside every day and the collaborative approach the whole team lives by. It really does feel like a family here. I also love the fast-paced and varied nature of my job, because no two days are ever the same and I’m always learning from the people around me.

“What sets Ryder Reid apart from its competitors? We genuinely do place people at the centre of our approach and go the extra mile for our clients and candidates, because we value our relationships. We’re responsive, approach everything positively and we strive to be the best.

“As a child, what did I want to be when I grew up? I love all sports, and I dreamt of being a footballer, but sadly I didn’t get very far – although I once took a penalty at FC Barcelona’s stadium. That’s my biggest personal achievement – even though I missed! My biggest professional achievement to date would be winning a future leader award while working for my previous employer.”
